The USC Roski Communication Design Minor consists of 24 units and includes coursework in digital imaging, business, communication, visual literacy, marketing, and public relations. UWF’s online instructional design and technology degree includes a total of 120 credit hours, including 60 credit hours of general education. In the major’s core coursework, you will explore adult learning needs, instructional technology and design, needs assessment, multimedia design and technology integration. Then, 15 credit hours of department-approved electives provide the opportunity to study your topics of interest.

In 1961, Walt and Roy Disney formed California Institute of the Arts through a merger of the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music and the Chouinard Art Institute. The Design MFA at University of Southern California is a studio-based program that requires at least 56 units of study, including 26 elective units. All CalArts students have the opportunity to enroll in the internship program, study abroad, and complete a portfolio of their best work. Many ArtCenter graduates have been hired at Google, Meta, IDEO, and Local Projects—an exhibition and media design firm for museums and public spaces. ArtCenter College of Design (ArtCenter) has a Graphic Design (Gx) Program with BFA and MFA (MGx) options.

Tuition waivers cover up to 75% of the non-resident portion of your tuition and are available to non-Florida residents (including international students) admitted to online campus programs and registered for online courses in active pursuit of that degree or certificate. Visual Literacy, Typographics IA-IB, and Graphic Design Theory are just a few required courses for the program. Students will also participate in two MFA Graphic Design Practicum workshops and Graduate Seminar I-II (Lecture) and Graduate Seminar I-II (Studio). In 2011, I was very lucky to marry my beautiful wife, Kristen, and we decided to move to Boulder in 2012. The following September 2013, we woke up to our house and Kind Design under 6 feet of mud and water from a 1000 year flood.
